Project HOME PLANET: Plaster Ceiling in The Making

The house is currently at the stage of plaster ceiling & cornice making.. but the plaster ceiling, we have decided to put it only at the living and dining area straight up to the wet kitchen.. whiles, at the rest area (bedroom only) we designed the ready-made/built plaster ceiling (by developer of course) with cornices..

We chose the simplest design of both cornice & plaster ceiling called L-Shape box.. just to match them up with our simple zen + modern contemporary concept (oh, poyo!).. the contractor we have selected is a bumiputera contractor, the same contractor who did our house's wiring.. yea, we were purposely appointing the same contractor of wiring & plaster ceiling, so he will understand better of what we really want.. leceh la kalau different contractor.. actually, malas nak deal 2, 3 kali with 2 ,3 different parties.. hehehe.. another good reason of that - to get a better offer.. and of course we got it cheaper!

Oh, malas nak cerita banyak.. tengok ajelah rupanya walaupun belum siap 100% lagi.. but so far, we are VERY SATISFIED with this bumi contractor.. he did BETTER + TIDIER compared to other cha-ya-nun-alip contractor.. senang nak communicate plus dia pon banyak tolak ansur (tak berkira sangat) dgn customer (us).. so layannn

Plaster ceiling with L-Shape box at the living & dining are.. at both kitchen we just designed with the common flat plaster ceiling..

But, for safety reason, we added grilles at kitchen top (under the atap genting) as a prevention in case ada orang jahat nak pecah masuk dari bumbung..

Cornice in all bedrooms..
